At KVTC, we provide therapeutic, educational, and vocational training opportunities that enable our students to gain independence and confidence. Our vocational programs focus on equipping students with marketable skills for sustainable livelihoods.

We are looking for an experienced Master Tailor specializing in ladies' and gents' cutting and stitching to support both production and training needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach students cutting, stitching, and tailoring techniques for both ladies' and gents' garments.
  • Design and deliver structured training sessions to build students' tailoring skills.
  • Oversee the production of stitched garments, ensuring high-quality standards.
  • Provide demonstrations and hands-on guidance to students during practice sessions.
  • Develop simple, step-by-step training plans suitable for differently abled learners.
  • Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with vocational staff to integrate tailoring skills into broader training initiatives.

Requirements & Skills

  • Proven expertise as a Master Tailor with strong skills in ladies' and gents' cutting and stitching.
  • Prior experience in training or supervising tailoring staff/students (preferred).
  • Ability to guide differently abled learners with patience and clarity.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Minimum qualification: Skilled diploma or extensive hands-on experience in tailoring.
