About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Manager (Web Development)
to lead and manage end-to-end execution of
WordPress, Shopify, and web design projects
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating project timelines, managing client communication, and ensuring successful delivery across design, development, and QA teams.

You will oversee multiple ongoing web projects, ensuring that deliverables meet quality, functionality, and brand standards within agreed timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Execution & Delivery
  • Manage the full lifecycle of web projects — from requirement gathering to deployment and client handover.
  • Coordinate tasks, sprint planning, and progress tracking using tools like Trello, ClickUp, or Jira.
  • Ensure timely delivery of website builds, design assets, and feature updates.
  • Collaborate with design, development, and QA teams to maintain alignment on goals and timelines.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and expectation management.

QA & Review Coordination

  • Review completed websites for design accuracy, responsiveness, and functionality.
  • Coordinate with QA to ensure websites are fully tested before client delivery.
  • Maintain checklists for revisions, browser compatibility, and post-launch testing.
  • Resource & Workflow Management
  • Plan and allocate resources across concurrent projects based on workload and deadlines.
  • Maintain updated dashboards and progress reports for ongoing projects.
  • Identify workflow gaps and recommend improvements to enhance delivery efficiency.
  • Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain organized project documentation, timelines, and task logs.
  • Prepare weekly progress reports for management and clients.
  • Document change requests, version histories, and client feedback.
  • Required Tools & Knowledge
  • WordPress & Shopify project workflows
    – basic understanding of CMS setup, plugins, and themes
  • Trello / ClickUp / Jira
    – task management and sprint tracking
  • Google Workspace
    – communication, documentation, and reporting
  • Basic QA knowledge
    – website testing and issue tracking

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience managing web development or design projects
  • Strong understanding of WordPress, Shopify, and web design processes
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities

Preferred

  • Familiarity with Agile or Kanban practices
  • Experience in handling client-facing communication and requirement documentation
  • Certification in PMP or Agile (a plus, not mandatory)
