Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role for a Special Education Specialist based in Karachi Division. The Specialist will be responsible for working with children with diverse learning needs, providing tailored educational support and interventions to foster their development. Day-to-day tasks include utilizing evidence-based strategies such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), collaborating with families and educators, and developing individualized education programs (IEPs). The role will require visits to physical locations within Karachi Division, along with remote work as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Applied Behavior Analysis and knowledge of evidence-based practices in special education.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, teachers, and other stakeholders.
  • In-depth understanding of education and special education methodologies, including developing and implementing IEPs.
  • Experience working directly with children, particularly those with diverse learning or developmental needs.
  • Empathy, patience, and a commitment to creating inclusive educational environments.
  • Relevant certification or degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with assistive technologies and tools to support learning is an asset.
