Role Overview

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Business Development Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a graduate in business or a related field, with strong communication skills, a passion for sports, and the ability to build meaningful partnerships. This role will focus on reaching out to potential partners, sponsors, and brands for our upcoming events and working to bring them on board.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential partners, sponsors, and collaborators for Aava Sports events.
  • Conduct outreach to brands, sports clubs, and universities to secure partnerships.
  • Assist in developing and executing strategies to expand the company's reach.
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, and pitches for potential partners.
  • Maintain and update the database of leads, partnerships, and ongoing discussions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align business development activities with campaigns and events.
  • Represent Aava Sports at meetings, networking opportunities, and events when required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in sports and sports marketing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to confidently pitch and negotiate with potential partners.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
