Role Overview

As the
Operations Manager
, you'll lead our
city launch and daily operations
, ensuring the platform runs smoothly, drivers stay engaged, and riders get the best experience.

You'll work closely with marketing, support, and tech teams to ensure operational excellence and rapid growth from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Launch Operations:
    Lead the setup of operational processes and city launch activities.
  • Driver Management:
    Oversee driver acquisition, onboarding, and activation — ensuring all drivers meet platform standards and understand app workflows.
  • Supply Optimization:
    Monitor supply-demand balance, trip completion, and cancellation rates.
  • Performance Monitoring:
    Track KPIs (driver ratings, trip time, rider satisfaction) and implement improvement plans.
  • Process & Compliance:
    Develop and enforce operational SOPs, quality standards, and local compliance procedures.
  • Customer Experience:
    Collaborate with support to resolve issues quickly and maintain service quality.
  • Growth & Expansion:
    Identify new cities or zones for launch and prepare expansion roadmaps.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration:
    Work with tech and marketing teams to refine pricing, incentives, and driver engagement strategies.

Requirements

  • Mandatory:
    Minimum
    2-3 years of experience in ride-hailing operations
    (e.g., Uber, Careem, Yango, InDriver, etc.).
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or Operations Management.
  • Deep understanding of
    ride-hailing dynamics
    — driver supply, surge management, cancellations, and service quality.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Hands-on, startup mindset — willing to work in the field and build systems from scratch.
  • Data-driven decision-making and performance monitoring experience.
