Job Description

We are seeking an Assistant Manager with strong experience in managing accounts, bookkeeping, payroll, and compliance for international clients—especially those operating in North America.

This role requires coordination during evening hours, so candidates comfortable with flexible timing will be preferred.

The ideal candidate should be able to:

  • Independently manage assigned client portfolios
  • Oversee compliance and reporting requirements
  • Guide and support junior team members

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage complete bookkeeping cycles using platforms such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, Zoho Books, and Sage.
  • Set up accounting systems, automate workflows, and prepare detailed financial reports.
  • Handle payroll processing and related compliance tasks for international clients.
  • Perform reconciliations and prepare financial statements and management reports.
  • Supervise the accounting team, assign duties, and ensure quality and deadlines.
  • Communicate professionally with global clients and manage correspondence.
  • Use MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint at an advanced level for reporting and analysis.

Qualifications

  • CA Finalist / CA Inter (with completed articles) / ACCA / CMA.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in bookkeeping, payroll, and compliance for international clients.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards and financial procedures.
  • Experience dealing with clients across different industries.
  • Excellent English communication and professional writing skills.
  • Ability to manage team workloads and individual responsibilities effectively.
  • Comfortable working in flexible UK/USA time zones.
