Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Assistant to support our finance department. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce, with strong expertise in Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and a minimum of 2–3 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, invoices, and payment documentation.
  • Support in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow transactions.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Maintain proper filing of financial documents and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Use Microsoft Excel and other tools to prepare detailed financial reports, spreadsheets, and data analysis.
  • Provide support to the finance manager and auditors as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in an accounting or finance support role.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts, financial modeling) and other Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
  • Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) will be an advantage.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
