Job Summary:

The IT System Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring secure and efficient systems, and providing technical support to end-users. This role also includes supporting visual content creation for marketing initiatives, managing IT procurement, and coordinating with vendors.

Key Responsibilities

1. Systems Maintenance & Technical Support

  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and software applications.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct system updates and security patches regularly to ensure stability and protection.

2. Network Administration

  • Implement and maintain secure network configurations, including firewalls, VLANs, and VPNs.
  • Monitor and optimize network performance, addressing latency and connectivity issues proactively.

3. Visual Content Creation & Marketing Support

  • Design internal and external visual content (posters, infographics, social media graphics) using tools such as Canva and Photoshop.
  • Assist the marketing team with branding tasks to ensure visual consistency across platforms.

4. User & Device Support

  • Provide end-user support for computers, printers, and mobile device setup and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding of new employees with IT assets and access.

5. Data Management & Security

  • Administer user accounts, permissions, and group policies in compliance with security standards.
  • Monitor data security practices to safeguard sensitive information.

6. IT Procurement & Vendor Coordination

  • Manage the lifecycle of IT assets from procurement to retirement.
  • Liaise with vendors for hardware, software, and service requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

· Proficiency in Windows/Linux OS, networking, and system troubleshooting.

· Experience with design tools (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator) is an advantage.

· Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and within a team.
