Job Title: Import Executive

Location: DHA Phase 7, Karachi

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee import operations from order placement to final delivery.
  • Prepare and review import documentation including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and clearance documents.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs authorities for timely clearance.
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations and government policies.
  • Track shipments and update internal stakeholders on status.
  • Maintain accurate records of all import transactions.
  • Work closely with the finance department for payments, LC documentation, and duty management.
  • Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to shipments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in imports within a manufacturing or import trading company
  • Strong knowledge of customs procedures, import regulations, and documentation.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
