Site Supervisor

Role Overview

The Site Supervisor – Construction, Refurbishment & Infrastructure will oversee all refurbishment, upgradation, maintenance, and establishment of missing facilities across The Children's Hospital Lahore and the University of Child Health Sciences. This includes work within the under-progress construction of the University's Academic Block, located within the same premises, as well as the renovation of offices, daycare centres, laboratories, welfare spaces, classrooms, and service areas.

The supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that all on-site work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high professional standard. The role also includes digital documentation through professional-quality photographs and videos, systematically capturing each project's before, during, and after stages to record requirements, monitor progress, and highlight completed impact for internal reporting and communication purposes.

Key ResponsibilitiesSite Supervision & Coordination

• Supervise all on-site refurbishment, renovation, and facility upgradation activities, including coordination with the ongoing construction of the UCHS Academic Block.
• Ensure all works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and safety protocols.
• Conduct daily site inspections to verify progress, quality, and compliance.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, engineers, and vendors to ensure timely and efficient execution.
• Monitor labor attendance, productivity, and discipline, ensuring effective use of manpower and materials.
• Oversee civil, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and finishing works to ensure standards are consistently met.
• Enforce safety, cleanliness, and infection-control measures, particularly within patient-care and academic environments.
• Identify on-site issues and report promptly for corrective action.

Digital Documentation & Reporting

• Capture professional-quality photographs and video clips documenting each project's before, during, and after stages to clearly illustrate transformation and progress.
• Maintain daily and weekly progress reports combining written summaries with visual documentation.
• Build and manage a digital archive of before-and-after visuals, ensuring traceable and organised records of improvement.
• Coordinate with Islamic Aid's Communications & Engagement team to ensure photos and videos meet professional and ethical standards.
• Present visual and written progress updates during regular review meetings.

Quality Control & Compliance

• Ensure that all work meets approved quality standards and hospital engineering requirements.
• Verify that materials delivered and used on site conform to approved specifications.
• Conduct inspection of workmanship prior to handover and certification.
• Support preparation and closure of snag lists for completed works.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–6 years of site supervision experience in institutional, hospital, or public-sector infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, finishing standards, and maintenance procedures.
• Hands-on experience in digital documentation, including photography, videography, and basic editing tools.
• Proficient in Google Workspace and familiar with cloud-based storage or reporting tools.
• Capable of interpreting technical drawings and coordinating effectively with multiple stakeholders.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs75, Rs150,000.00 per month
