About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary
Head of Security & IT Compliance
to lead and mature our global compliance and security programs. This leadership role is responsible for driving
SOC 1, SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, and related compliance initiatives
, ensuring our security, privacy, and operational controls meet the highest industry standards.

The ideal candidate has deep expertise in
IT risk management, compliance frameworks, and audit readiness
, coupled with the ability to
lead cross-functional teams
in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and lead the company's
  end-to-end IT security and compliance strategy
• Lead the
  SOC 1 & SOC 2 compliance.
• Develop, implement, and oversee compliance frameworks including
  ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS
  .
• Build, manage, and mentor the compliance and security teams, ensuring strong collaboration across engineering, DevOps, legal, and operations.
• Lead
  risk assessments, internal audits, and control gap analyses
  ; ensure timely remediation of risks.
• Establish and maintain policies, procedures, and audit documentation to support ongoing compliance efforts.
• Oversee the use of
  compliance automation platforms
  (e.g., Vanta, Drata, Secureframe, Sprinto) to streamline monitoring, evidence collection, and reporting.
• Act as the
  primary liaison with external auditors and regulators
  , managing all audit and certification processes.
• Drive a culture of security and compliance awareness across the organization.
• Stay ahead of regulatory and industry developments to continuously improve compliance and risk posture.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in
  Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems
  , or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience
  in IT compliance, audit, risk management, or information security, with at least
  5+ years in SOC 1 & SOC 2 compliance leadership
  .
• Proven experience
  managing external audits
  and achieving/maintaining certifications.
• Strong expertise in
  cloud environments (AWS)
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certifications such as
  CISA, CISM, CISSP, ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer/Lead Auditor
  .
• Hands-on experience with
  compliance automation platforms
  (Vanta, Drata, Secureframe, Sprinto).
• Prior experience building compliance functions in
  regulated industries or high-growth SaaS companies
  .
• Proven ability to
  scale compliance programs globally
  .
