Upwork Business Development Executive
The ideal candidate is a motivated, organized, and creative individual who welcomes the challenges of acquiring and developing new business through Upwork sales efforts. You will build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and close business deals while maintaining an extensive knowledge of current market trends in freelancing and IT services.
Responsibilities
Cultivate strong client relationships through Upwork and other freelancing platforms
Proactively identify new project opportunities and submit winning proposals
Develop tailored strategies for Upwork bidding to maximize conversions
Communicate with clients to understand requirements and deliver innovative solutions
Achieve monthly targets for project acquisition and revenue growth
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business/Marketing/IT
2+ years of proven experience in Upwork bidding & client acquisition (sales/account management a plus)
Strong understanding of IT services (Web, Mobile Apps, Design, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Negotiation and convincing power to close deals
