About the Role

We are looking for a passionate Manual Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer with 1.5 years of experience to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and have hands-on experience in test case creation, execution, and defect tracking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and usability testing.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or ClickUp).
  • Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to ensure quality at every stage of the SDLC.
  • Participate in requirement reviews to identify test scenarios early in the process.
  • Verify bug fixes and perform re-testing to ensure issues are resolved.
  • Provide clear, concise, and detailed bug reports and test summaries.
  • Contribute to improving testing processes and product quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Manual Testing.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies.
  • Experience with test case management and bug tracking tools.
  • Good understanding of functional and regression testing concepts.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Nice to Have

  • Basic understanding of API testing (Postman or similar tools).
  • Exposure to Automation Tools (Selenium, Cypress, etc.) is a plus.
  • Experience in Web and Mobile application testing.
