Job description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Assistant to support our IT department in maintaining and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT operations. This role is essential for ensuring smooth daily operations and supporting our team with all technical needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to staff by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Assist in setting up workstations and email accounts.
  • Support network maintenance, backups, and regular software updates to ensure system security and efficiency.
  • Assist in monitoring and maintaining IT inventory, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.
  • Respond promptly to support requests and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Document all technical support activities, solutions, and system updates.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to improve system performance and optimize workflows.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in IT support or a similar role.
  • Basic knowledge of network systems, operating systems and common software applications.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks.
