
Upwork Account Manager

We're looking for a proactive Upwork Account Manager who understands the Upwork ecosystem inside and out, from writing winning proposals to handling client communication and closing deals.
This role involves managing multiple Upwork profiles, generating consistent leads and clients, and acting as a front-facing representative of our agency. You'll be responsible for maintaining our Upwork presence, applying to high-potential projects, and nurturing leads into long-term relationships.
Location: Onsite (Karachi, Gulzar-e-Hijri)
Employment Type: Full-Time / Contract
Experience: 1–3 years managing Upwork accounts
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee two active Upwork profiles.
- Write and send high-converting proposals tailored to each client.
- Handle client communication, negotiations, and deal closures.
- Maintain a professional, trustworthy brand image on Upwork.
- Track proposal performance and provide insights to improve win rates.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project handover and delivery.
- Continuously research trends, keywords, and strategies to boost Upwork visibility and ranking.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Upwork sales, bidding, and account management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to understand client needs and pitch services effectively.
- Familiarity with digital marketing, web development, or creative services (preferred).
- Self-driven, results-oriented, and comfortable working with targets.
