Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing financial reports, reconciling accounts, preparing tax filings, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Additional responsibilities include providing financial recommendations, assisting with budget planning, and maintaining accurate financial records. The role requires collaboration with stakeholders and adherence to deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in financial reporting, account reconciliation, and general ledger management
  • Experience in tax preparation and knowledge of accounting regulations and standards
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or equivalent
  • Excellent organizational and time-management capabilities to meet deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification is a plus
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote setup
  • Prior experience in a senior accounting role or similar capacity is preferred
