About the Role

AHK Global Solutions is looking for a Senior Accountant with a strong accounting and financial background to manage end-to-end financial operations, reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will be ACCA or CA qualified, possess 3+ years of professional experience, and have UAE accounting exposure, including familiarity with VAT, corporate tax, and local financial standards.

You will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy, transparency, and efficiency of our financial systems while collaborating closely with management and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and company policies.
  • Oversee bank reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and journal entries.
  • Handle UAE VAT filing, tax compliance, and liaise with external auditors for audits and financial reviews.
  • Develop and monitor budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reports.
  • Support management with financial analysis, variance reports, and decision-making insights.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, internal controls, and corporate policies.
  • Collaborate with UAE-based finance and operations teams for cross-border accounting alignment.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.

Candidate Profile

  • Qualification: ACCA, CA, or equivalent professional certification.
  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably with UAE market exposure.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in ERP/accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Tally, or SAP).
  • Strong command of Excel and financial modeling.
  • In-depth knowledge of IFRS, VAT laws, and audit procedures.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, integrity, and accountability.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Good communication and reporting skills (English proficiency required).
