Job Purpose:

A candidate is required to support Sr. Manager Procurement in purchasing for IT Related Purchases, IOT Devices, Information and Communication Technology Products & commercial devices for organization and should be a role model and must have solution oriented approach, make informed decisions and manage the Projects wisely in order to achieve company's business goals through efficient and transparent sourcing process. Candidate must have deep insight into how Purchasing activities are being conducted in Telecom Sector and strong knowledge of the field and key suppliers is required. Deep insight into how Vendor industry works and strong knowledge of the field and key players.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for IT Related Purchases, IOT Devices, Information and Communication Technology Products & commercial devices Responsible to engage suppliers, negotiate and resolve issues related to supplier performance.
  • Overall responsible for managing supplier relationship program for vendors.
  • This individual may be required to lead RFP Projects of different nature and size.
  • The individual must have experience of running projects independently employing standard project management methodologies.
  • The individual will have to have a strategic mindset and will be required to create category strategy & procurement plan for End user Departments.
  • Candidate will seek approval on Procurement plan and bidding strategy and must be able to execute the strategy & Procurement Plan.
  • The individual should be a required to negotiate with suppliers, should have strong negotiation skills in order to deliver on business objectives.
  • Manages, evaluates and improves key supplier performance to deliver (non-) financial benefits. Leads performance evaluations and periodical business reviews with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Keeps oversight over set of contracts within category and ensures contract compliance considering payments terms, prices, discounts & rebates and performance in close collaboration with internal business units.
  • Responsible for managing the stakeholders. This individual will be owner of customer management framework program for User Departments.
  • Ensure that bidding process is followed as per the Procurement Policy.
  • Motivate vendor/suppliers for maximum participation is taken by them for the tender float in order to get competitive prices & quality goods in line of the Procurement policy.
  • Preparing and executing RFQs by ensuring 100% procurement policy compliance which include but is not limited to reviewing requisitions, setting up cross functional purchasing teams, analyzing specifications, conducting supplier market analysis, constructing evaluation criteria, analyzing bids, negotiation, selecting suppliers, getting case approval through Power Point Presentations and System related approvals.
  • Assist in all programs, duties, strategies, and materials assigned by the management & keep informed of current developments in the field of purchasing, prices, market conditions and new products.

Eligibility Criteria (Education, Knowledge, Experience and Skills):

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/IT/Software and having Master's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, and International Business & Economics will be preferred.
  • Accredited Procurement & Supply chain certifications will be preferred.

Work Experience:

  • 5-6 Years of IT/DICT/ and M2M Commercial Devices Related Purchases.
