JOB DESCRIPTION:

Certified DATA MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST is required for providing support to managing and implementing dashboards and database for results-based and effective decision making.

Key Tasks:

The core responsibilities are:

Develop and implement data management strategies and policies to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security.

Create and maintain databases, data dictionaries, and data models for efficient data storage and retrieval,

Interact with operations team to understand the requirements and write queries to retrieve data

Perform data quality assessments and implement data cleansing and enrichment processes,

Monitor and improve data governance processes to ensure compliance with data regulations, policies, and standards.

Collaborate with operations team to devise business rules for NSER data collection.

Design and implement data validation and verification procedures to ensure data accuracy and reliability,

Develop and maintain data documentation, including data dictionaries, data flow diagrams, and data lineage.

Design and online and offline dashboard for effective reporting and decision making,

Understand and maintain existing dashboards and bring improvements in design and outputs.,

Qualifications:

1) Education/Training

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. (8 points)

  • A certification in data management tools (e.g., SQL, ETL, or data warehousing) or data governance frameworks. (2 points)

1) Language

  • English and Urdu at C1 level or above (based on CEFR levels)

2) General Professional Experience

  • 5 years of experience in data management, including database design, development, and maintenance.

  • 3 years' experience in data governance, data quality assessment, and ensuring data accuracy and security.

3) Specific Professional Experience

  • 5 years' experience in creating and maintaining databases, data dictionaries,

and data models.

  • 2 years' experience in writing complex queries to retrieve data based on operational requirements.

  • 2 years' experience performing data quality assessments and implementing data

cleansing and enrichment processes.

  • 3 years of data validation and verification procedures to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

  • 2 years' experience designing dashboards for effective reporting and decision- making.

4) Leadership/Management Experience

  • 2 years experience managing or leading data management projects, particularly in cross-functional or multidisciplinary teams.

5) International professional experience outside the country/region of assignment

  • 2 years' experience working with international teams or across borders.

6) Professional experience in the country/region of assignment

  • 2 years' experience working in Pakistan as data management specialist

7) Development cooperation experience

1 year of experience working in development projects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs150, Rs200,000.00 per month
