About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Architectural and Construction Document Drafter with expertise in AutoCAD and SketchUp Pro. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in preparing house plans for sales and construction documentation for permitting, with a solid understanding of CAD drafting and construction processes. This role involves working directly with U.S.-based clients, requiring excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare architectural drawings, house plans, and detailed construction documents.
  • Ensure compliance with permitting requirements and industry drafting standards.
  • Collaborate with U.S. clients to translate design concepts into accurate construction documents.
  • Work with SketchUp, AutoCAD, SoftPlan (preferred), and other drafting tools to produce high-quality drawings.
  • Import/export project files in formats for cross-platform compatibility.
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams for revisions and approvals.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables with precision and professionalism.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp Pro (SoftPlan experience is a strong plus).
  • Strong background in architectural drafting and construction documentation.
  • Familiarity with U.S. residential construction standards and permitting processes.
  • Ability to create detailed, accurate, and professional construction documents.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for direct client interaction.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and keen attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience.
