About the Role

We are seeking skilled 2D and 3D Drafters
 to join our growing design and engineering team. The ideal candidates will have proven experience preparing detailed construction drawings and models for U.S.-based projects—preferably with familiarity in 
New York State building codes and standards
.

This role requires strong technical drafting skills in both 
2D and 3D
, with the ability to produce accurate, well-organized, and code-compliant documentation across multiple disciplines, including 
architectural, structural, MEP, and foundation
 drawings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and produce 
    2D drafting and documentation
     for architectural, structural, MEP, and foundation plans.
  • Create and update 
    3D models
     for design coordination and visualization.
  • Prepare detailed 
    architectural floor plans
    , including accurate layouts for 
    bathrooms, kitchens, and apartment units
    .
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure drawings meet design intent, technical accuracy, and applicable building codes.
  • Incorporate redlines, revisions, and design changes efficiently.
  • Maintain drawing standards, templates, and organization in compliance with company and client requirements.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency between architectural, structural, and MEP systems.

Qualifications

  • 2–5+ years
     of drafting experience in both 
    2D and 3D
     environments.
  • Proven experience working on 
    U.S.-based projects
     (experience with 
    New York State projects
     or 
    NY building codes
     is highly preferred).
  • Proficiency in relevant software such as 
    AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, or similar drafting/modeling tools
    .
  • Strong understanding of 
    architectural detailing
    , 
    structural layouts
    , and 
    MEP coordination
    .
  • Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings accurately.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
  • Degree or certification in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience preparing permit and construction drawing sets for 
    New York City or State
     jurisdictions.
  • Knowledge of 
    ADA compliance
    , 
    building codes
    , and 
    standard construction practices
    .
  • Familiarity with 
    BIM workflows
     and multidisciplinary coordination.
