Assistant Accounts Officer

Role Description:

  • Maintain and update customer and vendor ledgers
  • Must have the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • initiate corrective actions
  • Perform accurate bookkeeping and data entry of financial transactions
  • Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and vendor/customer accounts
  • Prepare, verify, and record invoices, vouchers, and journal entries
  • Follow up on receivables and manage overdue payment tracking
  • Support payroll calculations and other routine accounting tasks
  • Organize and maintain complete financial documentation for audits and tax purposes

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong accounting and financial knowledge
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data validation, and formatting
  • Working knowledge or hands-on experience with ERP/accounting software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow
  • Basic understanding of compliance, taxation, and bookkeeping practices
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills; capable of contributing to team building and knowledge sharing

Experience:

  • Fresh or 1–2 years of relevant experience

Language:

  • English - Urdu (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • ERP Microsoft Dynamics / Microsoft Excel / Word / PowerPoint (Preferred)
