Role Overview

We're looking for an
AI Prompt Engineer
to design, optimize, and refine the prompts and model interactions that power ClearGrid's AI-driven workflows. You'll work closely with our product and engineering teams to enhance AI performance, improve response accuracy, and build scalable solutions for financial services.

, understands how to get the best out of large language models (LLMs), and enjoys iterating quickly to deliver real-world impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and refine prompts to optimize accuracy, relevance, and reliability of AI outputs.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate prompts into production workflows.
  • Work with structured and unstructured data to analyze outputs and improve model performance.
  • Experiment with embeddings, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and parameter tuning.
  • Implement prompt engineering techniques and guardrails to reduce hallucinations.
  • Monitor and evaluate AI-driven workflows, iterating quickly to improve performance.
  • Stay current with advancements in AI models, prompt design, and applied NLP.

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in prompt engineering, LLM optimization, or applied NLP.
  • Familiarity with LLMs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, or Meta Llama.
  • Strong Python skills and experience with LangChain, Hugging Face, or similar frameworks.
  • Understanding of vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma) and embeddings.
  • Ability to rapidly iterate, test, and refine prompts for different use cases.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an experimental mindset.
  • Bonus: Experience applying AI in fintech, debt resolution, or regulated industries.
