Role Summary

As an Observability Architect, you will lead the design and implementation of a holistic observability architecture that enables
full-stack visibility, real-time insights, and predictive intelligence
. You'll architect unified telemetry pipelines, drive data correlation, and integrate observability with automation workflows to transform how operations are managed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design observability reference architecture for
    logs, metrics, traces, events, synthetic & RUM
    across hybrid infrastructure.
  • Architect observability pipelines integrating:
  • Dynatrace
    (full-stack monitoring, AIOps)
  • Splunk
    (infrastructure monitoring, log aggregation, anomaly detection)
  • BMC TSOM / MainView
    (mainframe telemetry)
  • SolarWinds
    (network & system visibility)
  • Enable
    event correlation, noise reduction, and AIOps-driven insights
    integrated with ServiceNow Event Management.
  • Deploy features like
    predictive alerting, root cause analysis, and intelligent incident triage
    .
  • Define
    dashboards, KPIs, SLOs/SLIs
    in Grafana, Dynatrace, Splunk ITSI.
  • Collaborate with the
    ServiceNow Architect
    to align observability with CMDB & service models.
  • Ensure
    data normalization, enrichment, and business-impact insights
    .

Qualifications

  • 8–12 years in
    observability engineering, enterprise monitoring, or AIOps architecture
    .
  • Proven experience in
    large-scale, hybrid enterprise AIOps transformations
    .
  • Hands-on expertise with:
  • Dynatrace (full-stack, synthetic, AIOps)
  • Splunk (Infra Monitoring & Log Management)
  • BMC TSOM & MainView
  • SolarWinds (NPM, SAM)
  • Grafana / Prometheus
  • Knowledge of
    OpenTelemetry, AI/ML-driven observability, automation & ITSM integrations
    .
  • Preferred Certifications:
    ITIL, Dynatrace, Splunk, or BMC.
