Role Overview:

The
Accountant & Cashier
will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, handling cash and bank operations, preparing reports, and ensuring financial transparency across all NETS Prep Transcations. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting skills, attention to detail, and integrity in handling company finances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage
    daily cash inflows and outflows
    , including fee collections, vendor payments, and petty cash.
  • Maintain
    accurate ledgers
    and financial records in accounting software and Excel.
  • Prepare
    daily, weekly, and monthly cash statements
    and reconcile them with bank records.
  • Handle
    bank deposits, withdrawals, and reconciliations
    .
  • Record and maintain
    vouchers, receipts, and expense documentation
    .
  • Support in
    budget preparation, expense monitoring
    , and
    financial reporting
    for management.
  • Assist with
    monthly payroll
    and staff reimbursement processes.
  • Ensure all transactions comply with
    company policies, accounting standards, and audit requirements
    .
  • Coordinate with auditors and management during
    internal or external audits
    .
  • Provide
    timely financial insights
    to support decision-making.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
    .
  • Minimum
    2–3 years of relevant experience
    (preferably in an educational or corporate setup).
  • Strong knowledge of
    accounting principles, reconciliation, and bookkeeping
    .
  • Proficiency in
    MS Excel, accounting software (QuickBooks / Tally / Peachtree)
    .
  • Excellent
    numerical accuracy, communication, and organizational skills
    .
  • High level of
    integrity, confidentiality, and responsibility
    .

Working Hours:

  • Full-time (Monday–Saturday)
  • Timings:
    9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
    (Adjustable as per campus operations)
