Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Executive with experience in freelancing platforms. The ideal candidate will be adept at writing compelling proposals, creating accurate project estimations, and communicating effectively with clients and internal teams. This role requires a proactive individual who can identify opportunities, secure projects, and foster long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proposal Writing:
  • Draft, edit, and submit persuasive project proposals for clients on freelancing platforms like Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, etc.
  • Tailor proposals to align with client requirements and project goals.
  • Maintain a repository of proposal templates and responses for efficiency.
  • Project Estimation:
  • Analyze project requirements and prepare accurate cost, timeline, and resource estimations.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to ensure feasibility and accuracy of estimates.
  • Present estimations clearly to clients for understanding and approval.
  • Client Communication:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and project discussions.
  • Conduct follow-ups to convert leads into confirmed projects.
  • Address client concerns, negotiate terms, and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Freelancing Platform Expertise:
  • Utilize platforms effectively to identify new business opportunities.
  • Manage profiles, maintain high ratings, and ensure platform policies are adhered to.
  • Track and analyze performance metrics to improve success rates on freelancing platforms.
  • Collaboration and Coordination:
  • Work closely with the development and design teams to ensure client requirements are met.
  • Provide regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders on project progress.
  • Market Research and Lead Generation:
  • Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
  • Generate leads through freelancing platforms, networking, and other channels.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (2- 5 years) in business development, especially on freelancing platforms.
  • Strong proposal writing and project estimation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Proficiency in using freelancing platforms and tools.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic understanding of software development processes and technologies is a plus.
