Site Supervisor - Civil Works

Job Brief:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive 
Site Supervisor
 to support and oversee daily site activities for road development and maintenance projects. The Site Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating on-site operations, monitoring quality, ensuring adherence to safety standards, managing workers and subcontractors, and reporting project progress. The role requires strong site management skills, hands-on supervision, and the ability to maintain smooth coordination between engineers, contractors, suppliers, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily site activities to ensure work is executed as per drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain safety and compliance with company policies.
  • Assist in ensuring timely completion of assigned project tasks within set deadlines.
  • Ensure timely availability of required materials, tools, and equipment on site.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and service providers for smooth project execution.
  • Verify quality of materials delivered at site before usage.
  • Supervise site workers, subcontractors, and equipment operators.
  • Allocate tasks to labor and monitor productivity.
  • Ensure workforce follows safety rules, quality requirements, and company procedures.
  • Implement instructions given by Project Engineer / Manager on daily site activities.
  • Maintain site records including attendance, work progress, and material usage.
  • Report daily progress, issues, and requirements to Project Engineer / Manager.
  • Enforce site safety rules and ensure all workers comply with PPE and HSE guidelines.
  • Identify and report potential risks or hazards promptly.
  • Support implementation of quality control and safety audits.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • 3–6 years of site supervision experience in civil works (road projects preferred).
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality standards.
  • Ability to read drawings and implement them on site.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills for managing workers and subcontractors.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office and reporting tools.
