Job Summary:

The Technical Lead is responsible for leading a team of developers to design, develop, test, and implement high-quality software applications. They will be responsible for ensuring that the team meets project deadlines, follows coding standards, and delivers software that meets the requirements of the stakeholders. The Technical Lead will also be responsible for managing technical risks and identifying opportunities for process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of developers to design, develop, test, and implement software applications
  • Develop project plans and ensure that the team meets project deadlines
  • Ensure that the team follows coding standards and best practices
  • Ensure that software meets the requirements of stakeholders
  • Manage technical risks and identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical guidance
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure that the code is maintainable and scalable
  • Mentor and train junior developers
  • Keep up to date with emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on the business
  • Ensure that the software development process is efficient, effective, and compliant with company policies and industry standards

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development
  • Experience in leading a team of developers
  • Strong technical skills in software development, database design, and system architecture
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Experience in Agile development methodologies
  • Knowledge of software development life cycle and project management methodologies
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
