Description:

  • Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and cost estimates based on project drawings and specifications.
  • Perform accurate quantity take-offs from architectural, MEP, and structural drawings.
  • Check, verify, and certify construction as well as repair and maintenance bills.
  • Conduct rate analysis and develop detailed cost estimates for new and ongoing works.
  • Prepare and review Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) in coordination with structural drawings and site requirements.
  • Evaluate and verify contractor claims and prepare valuations for interim payment certificates.
  • Develop and update stipulated payment milestones with project teams and contractors, ensuring alignment with work progress.
  • Conduct site visits for bill verification.
  • Collaborate with design, procurement, and site teams to optimize project costs and ensure value for money.

Required Skills:

  • Possess sound knowledge of price escalation and adjustment procedures under contractual frameworks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of Light Gauge Steel Structure (LGS).
  • Proficient in AutoCAD for reading drawings, reviewing plans, and extracting quantities.

Education:

DAE / B.Tech.

Experience:

10 to 15 years.
