Company Description

National Transmission & Dispatch Company (NTDC) was incorporated on November 6, 1998, and commenced commercial operation on December 24, 1998. NTDC took over the 220 KV and 500 KV Grid Stations and Transmission Lines/Network previously owned by Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA). The company operates and maintains a significant network including fourteen 500 KV and thirty-eight 220 KV Grid Stations, km of 500 KV transmission line, and km of 220 KV transmission line in Pakistan. NTDC holds an exclusive transmission license issued by the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) in December 2002, valid for thirty years.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Deputy Manager at NTDC. The position is located in Karachi. The Deputy Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing grid station and transmission line maintenance, coordinating between teams, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and implementing strategic projects. The role demands effective communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively to maintain efficient transmission operations.
