Position Title: Finishing Manager – Woven / Work wear

Location: Lahore

Reports To: GM Operations - Production

Role Overview

The Finishing Manager (Woven / Work wear) will be responsible for overseeing all finishing operations of woven garments and Work wear to ensure compliance with quality standards, buyer requirements, and production deadlines. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and hands-on management of finishing processes, including washing, pressing, and threads trimming, labeling, packing, and shipment preparation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the finishing section to achieve production targets in alignment with quality and delivery timelines.
  • Supervise and monitor finishing processes including
    washing, pressing, stain removal, thread trimming, packing, labeling, and carton handling
    .
  • Ensure adherence to
    buyer specifications, AQL standards, and customer quality protocols
    .
  • Plan manpower deployment, allocate tasks, and monitor performance of finishing staff.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to address defects and ensure right-first-time output.
  • Implement lean practices and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce rework, wastage, and cost.
  • Maintain accurate production and finishing records (daily output, rejections, packing lists, shipment reports).
  • Ensure proper
    workplace discipline, safety compliance, and housekeeping
    within the finishing unit.
  • Coordinate with Merchandising, Cutting, Sewing, and QA departments for smooth workflow and timely shipment.
  • Train and guide finishing staff to enhance operational efficiency and skill levels.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Textile Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Business Administration
    or relevant field.
  • Minimum
    8–10 years of proven experience
    in finishing operations, preferably in
    woven garments and Work wear
    .
  • Strong knowledge of garment finishing standards, lean manufacturing practices, and buyer compliance requirements.
  • Proficient in handling production reports, audits, and buyer visits.
  • Hands-on leadership with the ability to manage large teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
