Sabro Technologies is a pioneer in Pakistan's HVAC and IoT solutions, with over 55 years of engineering innovation. We are looking for a motivated Embedded Systems Engineer with strong hardware and electronics fundamentals, capable of bridging circuit design and microcontroller programming to bring IoT products to life.

Role Overview

As part of our R&D team, you will focus on ESP32-based board design, schematic development, and hardware validation, while also contributing to embedded coding for communication and control. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of electronics hardware and embedded software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, test, and debug ESP32-based circuits and PCBs
  • Work with sensors, actuators, power electronics, and analog/digital circuits
  • Develop and test firmware for ESP32 using Arduino IDE
  • Integrate communication protocols: UART, I²C, SPI, Modbus, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, WebSocket
  • Perform hardware bring-up, validation, and troubleshooting using tools like multimeters, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers
  • Collaborate with the team on prototyping and deployment
  • Maintain and understand documentation for both hardware design and firmware logic

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics / Electrical / Computer Engineering
  • Strong understanding of electronics hardware (schematics, PCB design, circuit analysis)
  • Familiar with ESP32 microcontrollers and Arduino coding (C/C++)
  • Experience working with communication interfaces (UART, SPI, I²C, Modbus)
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware using lab instruments
  • Eagerness to learn and work across both hardware and firmware

Nice to Have

  • Experience with IoT cloud integration and REST APIs
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools like GitHub
