Job Title: Senior Business Analyst - Software Development

Location: Head Office, Lahore, Pakistan

Reports to: Product Owner

Department: Software Development

Work Hours: PKT 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM (Aligning with international client timelines)

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Analyst to bridge the gap between our international clients and our internal software development teams. You will be responsible for translating business needs into actionable user stories, managing requirements throughout the Agile development lifecycle, and ensuring the timely and successful delivery of high-value solutions. Your expertise in stakeholder management and Agile practices will be key to driving project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Elicitation & Analysis: Work directly with clients and product owners to understand business objectives, gather requirements, and define detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Agile Project Execution: Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (grooming, planning, reviews) and act as a key liaison between stakeholders and the development team.
  • Tool Management: Utilize Jira to manage the backlog, prioritize tasks, track sprint progress, and ensure clear visibility for all team members.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain constant and clear communication with clients and internal teams, managing expectations and ensuring alignment on project scope and goals.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain crucial project documentation, including business requirements documents (BRD), process flows, and implementation reports.
  • Quality Assurance Support: Collaborate with QA teams to ensure developed features meet the defined business requirements and acceptance criteria.

Qualifications & Must-Have Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a software development environment.
  • Proven expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with JIRA is mandatory.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management and documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, MS Office/Google Workspace, MS Project/TeamGantt).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs170,000.00 per month
