JOB PURPOSE

his position is responsible to provide high-level technical support and troubleshooting for the Organization's IT systems, ensuring the efficient operation of hardware, software, and network Services. The Senior IT Support Officer will assist in maintaining the IT infrastructure, resolving complex issues, and mentoring junior support staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 2 support for hardware, software, and network-related issues System Configuration & Maintenance.
  • Assist employees with IT-related inquiries, ensuring high-quality and user-friendly support.
  • Configure, deploy, and maintain user workstations, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Troubleshoot basic network issues, including LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless connectivity problems.
  • Maintain detailed records of issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures.
  • Assist in enforcing IT security policies and procedures across systems and endpoints.
  • Guide junior support staff and end-users on system usage, best practices, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Respond to basic user inquiries and issues related to hardware, software, and network access.
  • Provide initial troubleshooting for common problems, escalating unresolved issues to higher support levels.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve more complex issues involving operating systems, business applications, and network connectivity.
  • Support users in configuring and resolving intermediate hardware/software issues and network configurations.
  • Ensure effective administration and discipline for self and team, including adherence to break schedules, attendance, overtime, leave policies, and dress code standards, where applicable.
  • Monitor and manage the achievement of individual and team performance, ensuring accountability and consistent performance where applicable.
  • Ensure continuous training and development opportunities for self and direct reports; mentor and assist junior staff as needed.
  • Ensure Quality, Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance.
  • Promote & maintain a culture of self and team motivation, engagement, and happiness.
  • Assist the lead of the concerned area in decision-making by providing analysis, data, inputs, research, and information.

Educational and Technical Qualifications:

  • Min. 12 years of Education, i.e., HSC / FSC / DAE, preferably in Sciences/ Commerce

Language Skills: Basic reading & writing Skills of Urdu and English

Years Of Experience: Preferably 2-3 years of experience

Nature Of Experience: Relevant Experience
