Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Manager Fund Accounting, located in Karachi. The Assistant Manager Fund Accounting will be responsible for managing financial statements, fund accounting, and NAV calculations. Daily tasks will include overseeing accounting functions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Calculate daily moving averages of PIBs, T-Bills, and TFCs for all Conventional and Takaful Funds via IPAM.
  • Record daily accrued income for all fund investments.
  • Update daily Mutual Fund prices and benchmark rates (PKRV, PKSRV, PKFRV) in IPAM.
  • Manage daily NCCPL processes, including CDC share affirmation and RTGS letter preparation.
  • Conduct daily unit valuations, record investment gains/losses, and prepare journal vouchers.

Qualifications

  • Financial Statements, Fund Accounting, and NAV skills
  • Strong knowledge of Finance and Accounting
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional certification, such as CPA or ACCA, is a plus
  • Proficient in IPAM, fund valuation, and NCCPL processes.
  • 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry
