Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Dispatcher located in Islamabad. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling daily freight movements, communicating with drivers and customers, monitoring the delivery process, and ensuring that all dispatching activities are compliant with DOT regulations. Key tasks include managing load assignments, updating shipment statuses, handling driver inquiries and issues, and maintaining accurate records of all dispatch activities.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with drivers and customers
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance standards
  • Proficiency in dispatching software and other relevant computer applications
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with load planning and transportation management
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
  • Prior experience in logistics and dispatching is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics or transportation management is beneficial
