Job Summary:

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Karāchi for an Associate Manager Accounts. The role involves overseeing day-to-day accounts and financial operations, including preparing and managing financial statements, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The incumbent will also assist with audits, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to support organizational financial goals. Additionally, the role requires collaboration with internal teams to enhance financial processes and controls.

Responsibilities:

  1. Preparation of Quarterly / Annual (incl. Statutory) accounts.
  2. Monthly posting of entries in GL, including accruals.
  3. Updating management accounts.
  4. Participate in process-improvement initiatives and help implement internal control procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Strong skills in financial accounting, reporting, and compliance
  • Practical experience with accounting software (e.g., Sidat Hyder, ERP systems, Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel
  • Attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy
  • Knowledge of local tax regulations, audits, and financial standards
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, along with part qualification of professional certifications such as ACCA or CA.
  • Understanding of tax and statutory requirements relevant to Pakistan (VAT/Sales Tax, withholding tax) is beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage team collaboration
