The
Site Mechanical Incharge
is responsible for supervising, managing, and executing all mechanical works at the project site, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. The role involves coordination with civil, electrical, and plumbing teams, as well as subcontractors and suppliers, to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage all mechanical site activities including installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and other mechanical systems.
  • Review and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and BOQs to ensure accurate execution of work.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports on mechanical works.
  • Ensure proper resource allocation (manpower, machinery, and materials) for mechanical activities.
  • Coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors to resolve technical and site-related issues.
  • Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with project standards and approved materials.
  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical systems during project execution.
  • Ensure adherence to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) policies and promote a safety culture at the site.
  • Manage documentation such as method statements, inspection requests, material submittals, and as-built drawings.
  • Support procurement by verifying material requirements and coordinating delivery schedules with suppliers.
  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and progress tracking for mechanical components.
  • Mentor junior engineers and site supervisors to enhance team performance.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education:
    DAE (Mechanical) or B.Tech / B.E. Mechanical preferred.
  • Experience:
    10 to 15 years of relevant experience in mechanical site execution within the construction industry (building, infrastructure, or industrial projects).
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings and MEP coordination.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
  • Knowledge of site management, materials, and quality control.
  • Familiarity with project scheduling tools and MS Office.
