We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Legal Associate with a strong grasp of legal terminology and court procedures. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and deliver reliable support to legal professionals while interacting effectively with clients.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming calls and coordinate meeting schedules with the attorney.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents pertaining to Estate Planning, Probate, and Guardianship.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and compile relevant case information.
  • Assist the attorney with case preparation, organization, and overall management.
  • Maintain, update, and organize client files and case records.
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients and external parties, ensuring effective communication throughout the legal process.
  • Schedule and manage client meetings, and follow up to ensure timely progress of legal matters.
  • Draft pleadings and estate-related documents in accordance with attorney instructions.
  • Track and manage case timelines using the firm's CRM system, and share updates as required.
  • Submit all document drafts to the attorney for review and finalization.
  • Note: All billing, payments, and e-filing will be handled directly by the attorney.
  • Must sign a confidentiality and proprietary agreement to ensure the protection of sensitive information.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Paralegal in Estate Planning, Probate, or Guardianship is a plus, but we're happy to train the right candidate.
  • Proven experience in the Civil and Criminal Cases.
  • Basic understanding of legal terms and procedures.
  • Strong writing and document drafting skills.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Must have your own computer with Microsoft Word and internet access.
