Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential clients or partners on Upwork to expand our business reach.
  • Create compelling proposals, pitches, and presentations tailored to clients' needs and requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their objectives and providing suitable solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies to attract and retain clients on Upwork.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Business Development Executive or similar role, preferably within the Upwork platform.
  • Strong understanding of the freelancing ecosystem and Upwork platform dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, managing time effectively to achieve set goals.
  • Proficiency in creating compelling proposals and delivering convincing pitches.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
