Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accounts Officer / Accountant who is well-versed in IFRS & GAAP bookkeeping to record and manage the day-to-day accounts of our UK and USA operations.

The individual should be bright, energetic, enthusiastic, and demonstrate a "can-do" attitude.

Key Skills:

  • In-depth experience and understanding of Xero Accounting Software

  • Self-motivated, organized, analytical, and deadline-driven

  • Minimum of 3 years of verifiable working experience with a UK or USA-based company
  • Qualified or finalist ACCA – preferably with F6 & P6 UK modules completed

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of all receipts and expenditures
  • Bank account reconciliation
  • Credit control management: accurate and timely invoicing of charges to customers
  • Evaluate internal systems and risks and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Obtain and maintain proper documentation for all expenditures and payables, including staff expense reports
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives
  • Preparation of statutory accounts and working papers
  • Bookkeeping on Xero
  • Working knowledge of Income Tax, Corporation Tax, VAT, and Capital Gains Tax
  • Familiarity with tax treatment of expenses and benefits
  • Experience in a multinational, multi-location environment
  • Work closely with our team to ensure timely month-end and year-end closings, accurate financial reporting, and compliance with legal and tax requirements
  • Provide monthly revenue and expense projections
  • Production of management accounts
  • Must be able to work UK-based office hours (currently 12 pm to 9 pm Pakistan time)
