Position Overview:

We are looking for a
Junior DevOps Engineer
to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining, automating, and improving our infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and cloud environments. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with foundational DevOps or system administration skills who wants to grow in CI/CD, cloud management, and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of
    CI/CD pipelines
    for various development projects.
  • Assist in managing
    cloud infrastructure
    (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and deployment environments.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure
    uptime and reliability
    .
  • Work closely with
    development and QA teams
    to streamline code integration and deployment.
  • Contribute to
    infrastructure as code (IaC)
    using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Implement and maintain
    monitoring, logging, and alerting
    systems.
  • Ensure system
    security, compliance, and access management
    in all environments.
  • Participate in regular
    backups, disaster recovery planning
    , and patch management.
  • Document processes, configurations, and best practices.

Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.

Technical Skills:

  • Basic understanding of
    Linux/Unix system administration
    .
  • Familiarity with
    version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab)
    .
  • Knowledge of
    CI/CD tools
    such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Exposure to
    Docker
    and containerization concepts (Kubernetes knowledge is a plus).
  • Understanding of
    networking fundamentals
    ,
    firewalls
    , and
    DNS management
    .
  • Awareness of
    cloud services
    (AWS / Azure / GCP).
  • Scripting skills in
    Bash
    ,
    Python
    , or similar languages.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on reliability and scalability.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and grow within the DevOps domain.

Preferred (Nice to Have):

  • Hands-on lab or internship experience in DevOps or Cloud Operations.
  • Familiarity with
    infrastructure monitoring tools
    like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
  • Basic knowledge of
    security best practices
    in CI/CD and cloud environments.
