About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Onboarding Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth onboarding of new clients onto our platform, handling technical configurations, API integrations, data migrations, and providing first-line technical support during implementation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mix of technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and communication skills, ensuring customers experience a seamless transition and quick adoption of our solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary coordinator between internal technical teams, project managers, and clients for onboarding activities.

Work closely with integration teams to test, validate, and troubleshoot API endpoints using Postman.

Manage and track onboarding tasks, issues, and timelines using JIRA (epics, stories, and tickets).

Document onboarding processes, workflows, and technical flows in a structured and client-friendly manner.

Identify bottlenecks in onboarding and proactively drive resolutions by aligning internal stakeholders.

Support internal teams in setting up, validating, and monitoring integrations during the onboarding phase.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.

1+ years of experience in onboarding, implementation, or technical support roles.

Strong knowledge of Postman, JSON, XML, SQL and system integrations.

Hands-on experience with ERP, POS, or e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, etc.).

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with ETL processes and data mapping.

Exposure to OMS, logistics, retail, or inventory management systems.

Previous experience in a SaaS onboarding/implementation engineer role.
