Job Description:

Shift manager responsibilities include maintaining the restaurant's revenue, profitability and quality goals. You will ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of kitchen staff, servers, and other front-of-house or back-of-house employees.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Provide guidance, training, and coaching to staff to enhance their performance and customer service skills
  • Oversee all aspects of shift operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation to maintain high standards.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation practices.
  • Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and resolving issues promptly.
  • Interact with customers to gather feedback and ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Lead by example in providing excellent customer service and fostering a customer-centric culture among staff.
  • Manage cash, handle cash, and reconcile sales transactions.
  • Monitor and control labor costs by scheduling staff efficiently.
  • Assist in achieving revenue and profit goals for the shift.
  • Monitor food preparation and presentation to maintain consistent quality.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure that all food items meet the established standards.
  • Address any food safety concerns promptly and take corrective actions as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with other Shift Managers, supervisors, and management regarding shift operations and issues.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
  • Ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities between shifts.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues diplomatically.
  • Address operational challenges and make quick decisions to maintain smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with the management team to implement improvements in processes and procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Rs60,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Sialkot: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Restaurant: 4 years (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
