We are looking for an ambitious and result oriented Fashion Designer for one of our clients in Lahore, Pakistan. Fashion Designer would report to the Chief Executive Officer, and is one of the key roles as he/she is responsible for managing operational needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Research & Trend Forecasting:
    Conduct seasonal market research, mood board creation, and competitor analysis to propose fresh, relevant design concepts.

  • Concept Development:
    Translate creative briefs into sketches and technical drawings aligned with the brand's aesthetic and target audience.

  • Fabric & Material Selection:
    Source appropriate fabrics, trims, and embellishments in line with design vision and budget.

  • Sampling Oversight:
    Work closely with pattern makers, tailors, and labor to develop and refine samples, ensuring precision and design integrity.

  • Design Execution:
    Oversee fittings, provide feedback on mockups, and ensure timely alterations to meet deadlines.

  • Collection Coordination:
    Support styling and coordination of looks for catalog shoots, campaigns, or presentations.

  • Documentation:
    Maintain thorough documentation of sketches, fabric swatches, and sample notes for production and future reference.

  • Cross-Department Collaboration:
    Liaise with merchandising, production, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive storytelling and product delivery.

Qualification:

  • A degree or diploma in Fashion Design.

  • 3+ years of experience in fashion design, with a portfolio focused on eastern women's wear.

  • Strong command over silhouette construction, detailing, and finishings.

  • Understanding of fashion trends, local market preferences, and production workflows.

  • Excellent time management and ability to meet tight project timelines.

  • Must be based in Lahore and available for frequent on-site reviews, fittings, and coordination.
