We're Hiring: Senior Fashion Designer & Researcher
Location: Lahore
Industry: Textile / Apparel (Semi-Formal & Formal Wear)
Salary Range: Rs. 150,000 – Rs. 250,000 per month
Experience Required: Minimum 5 Years (in Local Brand Market)
About the Role
Shams & Brothers is looking for a highly creative and experienced Senior Fashion Designer & Researcher to lead our Semi-Formal and Formal Wear collections.
The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in cutlines, stitching, embroidery, and fabric detailing, along with solid market knowledge of local brands and fashion trends.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Development
- Design semi-formal and formal collections according to brand identity and seasonal trends.
- Create detailed sketches, mood boards, and color stories.
- Coordinate with sampling and production teams for perfect execution.
Research & Trend Analysis
- Study fashion trends, colors, and silhouettes through local and international research.
- Develop embroidery, print, and fabric ideas aligned with brand direction.
Production Coordination
- Oversee stitching, finishing, and embroidery processes to ensure top-notch quality.
- Collaborate with merchandising and marketing teams for campaigns and product launches.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain design records, fabric swatches, and style archives.
- Present concepts and samples to management for approvals.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's in Fashion Design / Textile Design / Fine Arts
Minimum 5 years' experience as a Fashion Designer in a recognized local brand (Semi-formal & Formal).
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CorelDRAW.
Strong knowledge of cutlines, stitching, embroidery, and fabric finishing.
Excellent creativity, communication, and time management skills.
