Overview of the role:

The Tech Executive is responsible for overseeing the smooth and efficient operation of administrative and technical support functions within an organization. The role combines administrative coordination with a strong understanding of technical systems, ensuring seamless communication between departments, vendors, and management. Key responsibilities include managing office infrastructure, maintaining facility and equipment upkeep, supporting IT and operational systems, coordinating maintenance schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety and technical standards. The executive also assists in procurement, vendor management, documentation, and workflow optimization. By leveraging both administrative and technical expertise, the role ensures operational efficiency, minimizes downtime, and enhances overall workplace productivity. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential to manage day-to-day operations and respond effectively to technical or logistical challenges.

Expectations from the role:

Covers the physical infrastructure of the facility.

  • Building repairs (walls, ceilings, flooring)
  • Painting and waterproofing
  • Carpentry and masonry work
  • Doors, windows, and glass repairs

Focuses on technical systems and power-related assets.

  • Electrical wiring, panels, and lighting
  • Generators, UPS systems
  • HVAC systems (air conditioning, chillers)
  • Plumbing and water supply systems

Involves upkeep of operational and office equipment.

Qualification and Experience:

An Administration Executive typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; The role demands 2–5 years of experience in administrative operations, facilities coordination, or office management, preferably in a corporate or technical environment. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of facility upkeep, vendor management, procurement, and maintenance procedures, safety compliance. Proficiency in MS Office, and administrative reporting is essential. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are critical, as the role involves multitasking, coordination between departments, and ensuring operational efficiency. Experience in handling repairs and maintenance (R&M), budgeting, and service contracts is highly desirable, demonstrating both administrative and technical competence for managing day-to-day facility operations effectively.
