Job Title: Finance Manager

Location: Karachi – Remote

Salary Range: 200k

Department: Finance & Accounts

Reports to: CFO / CEO / Managing Director

Job Summary

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, preparing financial reports, managing budgets, and providing strategic financial advice to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis

· Develop, implement, and monitor annual budgets and forecasts.

· Conduct financial analysis to identify business trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization.

· Support management in strategic planning through financial insights.

Accounting & Reporting

· Supervise day-to-day accounting functions, including AP, AR, payroll, and reconciliations.

· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local laws.

· Ensure timely reporting to management and regulatory authorities (FBR, SECP, SBP, etc.).

· Cash Flow & Treasury Management

· Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity requirements.

· Manage banking relationships, loan facilities, and investment activities.

· Ensure optimum utilization of funds.

Compliance & Audit

· Ensure compliance with taxation laws (Income Tax, Sales Tax, Withholding Tax, etc.).

· Liaise with auditors for internal and external audits.

· Ensure proper implementation of internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Team Management

· Lead and mentor the finance & accounts team.

· Develop SOPs and strengthen internal controls.

· Build capacity within the team for continuous improvement.

Risk Management

· Identify financial risks and propose risk mitigation strategies.

· Ensure company assets are insured and risk exposures are managed effectively.

Qualifications & Skills:

· Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA, M.Com, ACCA, or CA preferred).

· Minimum 5–8 years of experience in finance/accounting, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.

· Strong knowledge of IFRS, Pakistani taxation, and corporate laws.

· Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar).

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

· Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Pay: Rs175, Rs200,000.00 per month
