Job Responsibilities:

  • Planning and executing merchandising strategies to optimize product assortments and maximize sales and profitability
  • Analyzing market trends, customer preferences, and sales data to make informed decisions on product selection, pricing, and inventory management
  • Developing and managing merchandising budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources to drive sales and meet financial targets
  • Conducting regular store visits and market research to evaluate product performance, identify opportunities, and address any potential issues
  • Coordinating with suppliers and vendors to negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules to maintain optimal inventory levels
  • Overseeing product presentation and visual merchandising to create compelling and attractive displays that enhance the overall shopping experience
  • Monitoring competitor activities and market trends to stay ahead in the market and identify new opportunities for growth
  • Developing and implementing promotional strategies and campaigns to drive customer engagement and increase footfall
  • Providing guidance and direction to the merchandising team, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven work environment
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and sales, to align merchandising strategies with overall business objectives

Key Requirements

  • Candidate must have Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or textile graduate and gained 7-8 years of experience in merchandising from socks/hosiery division.
  • Having strong negotiation & communication skills and can arrive at win-win solutions with partner.
  • You have strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data

Job Type: Full-time
