The Role:

We are looking for a proactive Female IT Officer to join our team at IDR. This role is responsible for managing and supporting the organization's information technology systems and services. The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructure, maintaining security, and providing technical support to end-users. The position requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Azure Active Directory and manage MS365 users and licenses.
  • Oversee MS365 Admin Centre (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Azure, Teams).
  • Troubleshoot Windows, Office, network connections, and desktop applications.
  • Manage Help Desk ticketing and IT asset management.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Assist with audio-visual setups in conference rooms.
  • Support remote users and create documentation for common queries.
  • Perform routine system checks (daily, weekly, monthly).
  • Hands-on experience with LAN/WAN infrastructure and devices (switches, routers, firewalls).
  • Conduct network troubleshooting and manage firewall settings for security.
  • Install and manage endpoint security solutions and ensure compliance.
  • Monitor and respond to security alerts, investigate incidents, and prepare reports.
  • Collaborate with teams to address recurring security issues and maintain communication on policies.
  • Plan, install, configure, troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade operating systems.
  • Comply with the principles and policies in the information security policies where relevant to the job.

Qualifications and Experience:

Education: At least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or IT or related/relevant experience.

Experience: 4-5 years of hands-on experience in the same capacity.

  • Able to handle tight deadlines and pressure situations.
  • Resilience in dealing with changing expectations and the environment.
  • Adequate verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong ability to understand and solve problems that arise in daily operations.
  • Ability to deconstruct information into smaller categories to draw conclusions.
  • Ability to take ownership of the assigned tasks and responsibilities.
  • Well-versed with Microsoft 365, AWS, Azure Services, Windows 11.
